Welcome to the Davis County Symphony Website!

Mission

The Davis County Symphony has been formed with a vision that those who join will feel the “Spirit of Community”.  The symphony creates an environment for those who participate whereby they can strive to engage, serve and inspire, as well as enhance their artistic lives and musical growth.  It also provides a venue to share diverse talents and ideas and the opportunity to give back to the community through music and service as we create a feeling of family.

A New Voyage

Founded in 2009 by Marie Maxfield, the symphony is an all volunteer organization open to each and every musician 9th grade and older. The symphony members come from various parts of Northern Utah, and you do not have to live in Davis County to become a member!

Rehearsals

The Davis County Symphony will hold rehearsals on Thursdays from 7:00-9:00pm at the Clearfield Community Center, 2nd floor, 140 E. Center Street, Clearfield. If you turn east on center street from Main street, you turn into the parking lot just past the first building. The community center is on the east end of the parking lot. We are rehearsing in the large room on the 2nd floor. Enter in the main west doors, go to end of hall and turn left, go up the stairs and to your left! Please bring your own music stand! We have a few, but not quite enough for everyone. Also, please let us know ahead of time that you are planning to join so that we may have music ready for you!
